Disabling Wifi on a Samsung Fridge

Bought a new fridge, specifically the RF18A5101, and saw that it comes with some wifi hufflepuff. When I plugged it in it created a hotspot, with a default password I think, but I needed to install an app to interact with it.

I need another app on my phone like I need a fridge with wifi. I’ve read that it automatically joins insecure networks or connects to PG&E smart meters(?!#$?). Whether or not that’s true, fuck that.

There aren’t really any places with instructions to turn it off, but I found an obscure post that worked.

The picture was what I needed. Pop off that panel in the back after you unplug the fridge and pull the one below.

Pull the white one at the top

Wifi off. Good Riddance.
